Unity in Diversity

I can do nothing alone;
I need your help.

You can also do nothing alone;
you need ours and theirs too.

He can also do nothing alone;
he needs ours and yours as well.

Nobody can go alone because we are just living in the network of dependent origination.

Therefore, the Buddha taught us to develop the four divine spiritual qualities: (1). Loving-kindness, (2). Compassion, (3). Appreciative joy, and (4). Equanimity in everyday life. He has never forced people to believe in Him or His Religion or Buddhism but He always advises us to develop necessary spiritual qualities that can lead us how we should live positively, harmoniously, peacefully and happily.

Of course, you can believe in whatever you want but you must understand that it is not enough to live life happily. We must learn the way how we should live skillfully with friends in different faiths without harming them.

As the Buddha said, these four divine spiritual qualities: (1). Loving-kindness, (2). Compassion, (3). Appreciative joy, and (4). Equanimity, called Brahmavihara (Divine Abiding) according the Buddha’s Teaching, are really necessary to practice and to develop in everyday life. These four will qualify the skills how we should live with friends and develop our spirituality regardless of one’s own faith, belief, religion, tradition, and culture. I hope you get it.
