The Difference Between Buddhism and Religion

Religion makes conversion.
Conversion makes quantity.
Quantity makes competition.
Competition makes the faithful think of war.
War needs weapons.
Weapons need money.
Money needs business people.
Business people create capitalism.
Capitalism destroys sense of democracy.
Democracy needs wise people.
Wise people want to live peacefully and happily in their own individual and communal dignity.

This is the reason why the wise are searching for the Dhamma in which they feel dignified and protected . It is also the reason why the wise meet the Buddha’s Teaching called Dhamma.

The Buddha’s Teaching is the only teaching that can guide us how to live peacefully and happily while carrying our daily tasks and activities unavoidably and leading family life. This is what happens in these days. Animals are behaving like human; Human being is now behaving like wild animal by killing innocent people including adults and children, by raping some young girls in improper way in some countries and by going so much extreme that they can hurt innocent people.

We need more love and compassion to develop in all the hearts of human being so that we can save our species and our world. We need love, kindness and compassion developed in a quite powerful wisdom by taking Vipassanā retreat course. These spiritual qualities are much more necessary than a religion in which you believe and they can be followed by all walks of life because these spiritual qualities are universal; we call them Dhamma, according to Buddhism.
