Dhamma

It is suitable for monk to think about the Dhamma. It is suitable for monk to talk about the Dhamma and it is suitable for monk to act according to the Dhamma.

My mind is always thinking about the Dhamma and I don’t keep it in me. I try to transfer my dhamma wisdom to the lay people so that they can properly apply as much as they can in their daily life. Even taking sun bathing in the sun, my mind gets used to observing the nature of impermanent (Anicca). All the nature around me is changing every moment not by any external agent but in its own law. Now, rainy season is ended and the winter is turned following the law of season. At the same time, my mind and my body are changed dependent on each other. During rainy season, I haven’t gotten natural heat of the sun because of cloudy and humid weather particular in my forest. I need natural heat of the sun. After rainy season, the sun rises again from covering under thick clouds. When the sun rises, my forest is so beautiful in green trees with their shadows. I feel relaxed and recharged or re-energized when I take sun bathing.

However, my mind is thinking about the Dhamma inside and outside me. The Dhamma is always there inside and outside me; I need just to be aware of in, out and around me. Nothing is really existing other than physical and mental phenomena when you see things through right understanding. Names and labels are just human conception; they are not reality. These names and labels are just conventionally used different people all over the world. These names and labels are really able to make spiritually undeveloped people seriously confused and it is really dangerous to such people. Therefore, the Buddha seriuosly teaches us to take off human conception from those names and labels. We can see that there are so many stupid people crazy about names and labels, particularly in religiuos fields. They create many problems that cause all of us suffer. If all of us can wisely remove or take off the names and labels diferfently put on us even believing in our religion and tradition, I think we will be wiser to live togehter in the same planet. Why not.
